Notification 2022

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 47 of the Mutual Assistance in Criminal Matters Act 2000, the Minister for Law makes the following Notification:

Citation and commencement

1. This Notification is the Mutual Assistance in Criminal Matters Act 2000 (Amendment of Second Schedule) Notification 2022 and comes into operation on 1 September 2022.

Amendment of Second Schedule

2. In the Second Schedule to the Mutual Assistance in Criminal Matters Act 2000 —

(a)

after item 115, insert —

115A.

Section 5A

Using aircraft to cause death, serious bodily injury, etc.

115B.

Section 5B

Release of BCN weapon, etc., from aircraft

115C.

Section 5C

Using BCN weapon, etc., against or on board aircraft

115D.

Section 5D

Transporting or facilitating transport of BCN weapon, etc., on board aircraft

”; and

(b)

after item 116, insert —

“

116A.

Section 8

Threats to commit offences and screening offenders

”.
