Medicines (Medical Advertisements)
(Amendment) Regulations 2022

In exercise of the powers conferred by sections 52 and 74 of the Medicines Act 1975, the Minister for Health makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations are the Medicines (Medical Advertisements) (Amendment) Regulations 2022 and come into operation on 1 July 2022.

Replacement of Schedule

2. The Schedule to the Medicines (Medical Advertisements) Regulations (Rg 2) is replaced with —

Regulation 14(1)

FEES

1.	Application fee for a permit for —

(a)	a medical advertisement using light and sound projection

$212

(b)	any other medical advertisement that is not a sales promotion

2.	Application fee for a permit for a sales promotion, in addition to the fee in item 1, if any

$106

3.	Fee for a permit, for the first year, for —

(a)	a medical advertisement using light and sound projection

$106

(b)	any other medical advertisement that is not a sales promotion

$106

4.	Fee for a permit, for the first year, of a sales promotion, in addition to the fee in item 3, if any

$106

5.	Fee for the renewal of a permit, for each subsequent year, for —

(a)	a medical advertisement using light and sound projection

$318

(b)	any other medical advertisement that is not a sales promotion

$212

6.	Fee for the renewal of a permit, for each subsequent year, for a sales promotion, in addition to the fee in item 5, if any

$212

7.	Fee for an application to amend a permit

$54

8.	Fee for an application to transfer one or more permits to another person

$17
