(Miscellaneous Amendments)
Regulations 2022

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 44 of the Private Education Act 2009, the SkillsFuture Singapore Agency, with the approval of the Minister for Education, makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations are the Private Education (Miscellaneous Amendments) Regulations 2022 and are deemed to have come into operation on 31 December 2021.

Amendment of Private Education Regulations 2009

2. In the Private Education Regulations 2009 (G.N. No. S 617/2009) —

(a)

in regulation 3(4), replace “section 35(2)” with “section 8(2)”;

(b)

in regulation 4(1), replace “section 35(1)(c)” with “section 8(1)(c)”;

(c)

in regulation 5(1), replace “section 39(2)” with “section 12(2)”;

(d)

in regulation 6(1), replace “section 41(1)(c) and (f)” with “section 14(1)(c) and (f)”;

(e)

in regulation 6(7)(a), replace “section 41(1)(c)” with “section 14(1)(c)”;

(f)

in regulation 7(1), replace “section 41(1)(d)(i) and (f)” with “section 14(1)(d)(i) and (f)”;

(g)

Amendment of Private Education (Dispute Resolution Schemes) Regulations 2016

3. In the Private Education (Dispute Resolution Schemes) Regulations 2016 (G.N. No. S 490/2016) —

(a)	in regulation 3, replace “section 64(1)” with “section 37(1)”; and
(b)	in regulation 4, replace “section 64(2)(b)” with “section 37(2)(b)”.
