| Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) (Cancellation of Contracts) (Amendment) Regulations 2011 |

| Citation and commencement |
| 1. These Regulations may be cited as the Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) (Cancellation of Contracts) (Amendment) Regulations 2011 and shall come into operation on 1st April 2011. |
| Amendment of regulation 3 |
| 2. Regulation 3 of the Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) (Cancellation of Contracts) Regulations 2009 (G.N. No. S 65/2009) is amended by deleting the words “, if that specified period expires later than 5 days (excluding Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays) after the day on which the contract was entered into” in paragraph (h). |
| Savings provision |
| 3. In respect of the cancellation of a contract referred to in regulation 3(h) of the Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) (Cancellation of Contracts) Regulations 2009 entered into before 1st April 2011, that provision in force immediately before that date shall continue to apply as if these Regulations had not been enacted. |
