(Amendment of Second Schedule)
Order 2022

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 71 of the Medical Registration Act 1997, the Minister for Health, after consultation with the Singapore Medical Council, makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1. This Order is the Medical Registration Act 1997 (Amendment of Second Schedule) Order 2022 and comes into operation on 1 September 2022.

Amendment of Second Schedule

2. In the Second Schedule to the Medical Registration Act 1997 —

(a)	in the second column of item 3 relating to the country “Australia”, replace “Health Sciences” with “Health and Medical Sciences”;
(b)	in the third column of item 3 relating to the country “Australia”, after “MB BS”, insert “, BMedSt/MD”;
(c)	in the second column of item 8 relating to the country “Australia”, after “Medicine”, insert “and Health”; and
(d)	in the third column of item 8 relating to the country “Australia”, after “BMed MD”, insert “, MD”.
