Private Education
(Amendment) Regulations 2021

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 71 of the Private Education Act, the SkillsFuture Singapore Agency, with the approval of the Minister for Education, makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations are the Private Education (Amendment) Regulations 2021 and come into operation on 10 August 2021.

Amendment of Part I of Third Schedule

2. Part I of the Third Schedule to the Private Education Regulations 2009 (G.N. No. S 617/2009) is amended —

(a)

by deleting the words “Lycee Francais De Singapour” in item 3 and substituting the words “International French School (Singapore)”;

(b)

by deleting the words “Sekolah Indonesia” in item 4 and substituting the words “Sekolah Indonesia (Singapura)”;

(c)

by deleting items 14 and 21; and

(d)

by inserting, immediately after item 25, the following items:

“26.	Academy of Medicine Singapore

27.	College of Family Physicians Singapore”.
