Parliamentary Elections (Composition of Offences) (Amendment) Regulations 2011
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 109(2) of the Parliamentary Elections Act, the Prime Minister hereby makes the following Regulations:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Regulations may be cited as the Parliamentary Elections (Composition of Offences) (Amendment) Regulations 2011 and shall come into operation on 14th March 2011.
Amendment of regulation 2
2.  Regulation 2 of the Parliamentary Elections (Composition of Offences) Regulations 2006 (G.N. No. S 233/2006) is amended —
(a)by inserting, immediately after paragraph (d), the following paragraph:
“(da)any illegal practice under section 74(4A) read with section 79 of the Act for failing to transmit, within the time limited by section 74(1A) of the Act, the consolidated return respecting election expenses and statements;”;
(b)by deleting the words “5 or 6” in paragraph (e) and substituting the words “5, 6 or 7(2)”; and
(c)by deleting the words “regulation 23(a)” in paragraph (g) and substituting the words “regulation 19A(1) or 23(a)”.
