(Driver Improvement Points System)
(Amendment) Rules 2021
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 45(2) of the Road Traffic Act, the Minister for Home Affairs makes the following Rules:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Rules are the Road Traffic (Driver Improvement Points System) (Amendment) Rules 2021 and come into operation on 30 June 2021.
Amendment of Schedule
2.  The Schedule to the Road Traffic (Driver Improvement Points System) Rules (R 25) is amended by inserting, immediately after item (4), the following item:
“
(4A)Rider driving where a pillion is not wearing securely on his or her head a protective helmet

 [Section 74(1A) of the Act]
 
”.
