(Prohibition of Sale and Supply)
(Amendment) Order 2019
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 30 of the Medicines Act, the Minister for Health makes the following Order:
Citation and commencement
1.  This Order is the Medicines (Prohibition of Sale and Supply) (Amendment) Order 2019 and comes into operation on 1 September 2019.
Amendment of First Schedule
2.  The First Schedule to the Medicines (Prohibition of Sale and Supply) Order (O 4) is amended —
(a)by deleting item 2 and substituting the following item:
 
“2.Cadmium
 
0.3 part per million.”; and
(b)by deleting the words “20 parts” in item 3 and substituting the words “10 parts”.
Saving and transitional provision
3.  Despite paragraph 2, any person may, at any time before 1 September 2020, sell or supply any medicinal product which is manufactured or assembled in Singapore, or imported into Singapore, before 1 September 2019.
