Notification 2023

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3(2) of the Poisons Act 1938, the Minister for Health makes the following Notification:

Citation and commencement

1. This Notification is the Poisons Act 1938 (Amendment of Schedule) Notification 2023 and comes into operation on 1 November 2023.

Amendment of Schedule

2. In the Poisons Act 1938, in the Schedule, after the item “Dinitronaphthols”, insert —

“2,4-Dinitrophenol; its salts; which are intended for human consumption”.
