Private Education
(Amendment) Regulations 2023

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 44 of the Private Education Act 2009, the SkillsFuture Singapore Agency, with the approval of the Minister for Education, makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations are the Private Education (Amendment) Regulations 2023 and come into operation on 1 August 2023.

Amendment of Third Schedule

2. In the Private Education Regulations 2009 (G.N. No. S 617/2009), in the Third Schedule, replace Part II with —

“Part II

Registered private education
institutions which are exempted
from regulation 25(4)

Conditions of exemption

1.	LASALLE College of the Arts

2.	Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts

Exemption is in respect of any course that —

(a)	leads to a certificate, degree, diploma or other qualification, that is awarded or ratified, by the University of the Arts Singapore Ltd.; or

(b)	is supported by a grant‑in‑aid or subvention from the Government.
