Mutual Assistance in Criminal Matters Act
(Amendment of Second Schedule)
Notification 2021

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 47 of the Mutual Assistance in Criminal Matters Act, the Minister for Law makes the following Notification:

Citation and commencement

1. This Notification is the Mutual Assistance in Criminal Matters Act (Amendment of Second Schedule) Notification 2021 and comes into operation on 21 November 2021.

Amendment of Second Schedule

2. The Second Schedule to the Mutual Assistance in Criminal Matters Act is amended —

(a)

by inserting, immediately after the words “Section 136(1), (2), (3), (4) and (6)” in the first column of item 51, the words “(as in force before 21 November 2021)”;

(b)

by inserting, immediately after the words “Section 260(6)” in the first column of item 52, the words “(as in force before 21 November 2021)”;

(c)

by inserting, immediately after the words “Section 261C(4) and (5)” in item 53, the words “(as in force before 21 November 2021)”; and

(d)

by inserting, immediately after item 53, the following heading and items:
