(Packaging Reporting)
(Amendment) Regulations 2023

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 52 of the Resource Sustainability Act 2019, the Minister for Sustainability and the Environment makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1.—(1) These Regulations are the Resource Sustainability (Packaging Reporting) (Amendment) Regulations 2023 and, except for regulation 4, come into operation on 26 May 2023.

(2) Regulation 4 is deemed to have come into operation on 31 December 2021.

Amendment of regulation 7

2. In the Resource Sustainability (Packaging Reporting) Regulations 2020 (G.N. No. S 508/2020) (called in these Regulations the principal Regulations), in regulation 7(1), after “31 March of any year”, insert “(or any later date that the Agency may allow in any particular case)”.

Amendment of regulation 8

3. In the principal Regulations, in regulation 8(1), after “31 March of the year”, insert “(or any later date that the Agency may allow in any particular case)”.

Miscellaneous amendments

4. In the principal Regulations —

(a)	in regulation 2, in the definition of “motor vehicle”, replace “(Cap. 276)” with “1961”;
(b)	in regulation 2, in the definition of “specified goods”, in paragraph (f), delete “(Act 3 of 2017)”; and
(c)	in the Schedule, in item 3, replace “(Cap. 13)” with “1913”.
