Public Entertainments and Meetings
(Amendment) Rules 2023

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 33(1) of the Public Entertainments Act 1958, the Minister for Home Affairs makes the following Rules:

Citation and commencement

1. These Rules are the Public Entertainments and Meetings (Amendment) Rules 2023 and come into operation on 21 August 2023.

Amendment of rule 1

2. In the Public Entertainments and Meetings Rules (R 1) (called in these Rules the principal Rules), in rule 1, delete “and Meetings”.

Amendment of rule 3

3. In the principal Rules, in rule 3(1), replace “http://www.police.gov.sg” with “https://www.police.gov.sg”.

Amendment of Second Schedule

4. In the principal Rules, in the Second Schedule, in Part I, delete item 5.
