Medicines (Prohibition of Sale, Supply and
Importation) (Amendment) Order 2022
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 30 of the Medicines Act 1975, the Minister for Health makes the following Order:
Citation and commencement
1.  This Order is the Medicines (Prohibition of Sale, Supply and Importation) (Amendment) Order 2022 and comes into operation on 1 August 2022.
Amendment of Second Schedule
2.  In the Second Schedule to the Medicines (Prohibition of Sale, Supply and Importation) Order (O 4), after item 7, insert —
“
8.Aconite, alkaloids of
Container of the Chinese proprietary medicine to be labelled with a recommended dosage of the medicine containing not more than 60 mcg of the substance per day
9.Amygdalin
No limit
10.Methoxsalen
No limit
11.Phenethylamine; its salts
≤ 300 ppm
”.
