(Revised Retirement Sum Scheme)
(Amendment) Regulations 2023

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 77(1) of the Central Provident Fund Act 1953, the Minister for Manpower, after consulting with the Central Provident Fund Board, makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations are the Central Provident Fund (Revised Retirement Sum Scheme) (Amendment) Regulations 2023 and come into operation on 1 June 2023.

Amendment of regulations 8A and 10C

2. In the Central Provident Fund (Revised Retirement Sum Scheme) Regulations (Rg 2) (called in these Regulations the principal Regulations), in the following provisions, replace “$250” with “$350”:

Regulation 8A(4A)

Regulation 10C(2).

Amendment of regulations 10 and 10B

3. In the principal Regulations, in the following provisions, replace “$297” with “$350”:

Regulation 10(1)

Regulation 10B(4).

Amendment of Fourth Schedule

4. In the principal Regulations, in the Fourth Schedule, replace item (k) with —

“

(k)	On or after 1st July 2003 but before 1st June 2023

$297

(l)	On or after 1st June 2023

$350

”.
