Employment Agencies (Exemption)
(Miscellaneous Amendments) Order 2016

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 4(2) of the Employment Agencies Act, the Minister for Manpower makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1. This Order is the Employment Agencies (Exemption) (Miscellaneous Amendments) Order 2016 and comes into operation on 3 October 2016.

Amendment of Employment Agencies (Exemption) Order 2011

2. Paragraph 2(4) of the Employment Agencies (Exemption) Order 2011 (G.N. No. S 175/2011) is amended by deleting the full‑stop at the end of sub‑paragraph (c) and substituting a semi‑colon, and by inserting immediately thereafter the following sub‑paragraph:

“(d)	the SkillsFuture Singapore Agency established under section 3 of the SkillsFuture Singapore Agency Act 2016 (Act 24 of 2016).”.

Amendment of Employment Agencies (Exemption) Order 2014

3. Paragraph 2 of the Employment Agencies (Exemption) Order 2014 (G.N. No. S 433/2014) is amended by inserting, immediately after the words “(Cap. 305D))”, the words “or the SkillsFuture Singapore Agency (established under section 3 of the SkillsFuture Singapore Agency Act 2016 (Act 24 of 2016))”.
