Administration of Muslim Law
(Muslim Converts) (Amendment) Rules 2017

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 145 of the Administration of Muslim Law Act, the President of Singapore makes the following Rules:

Citation and commencement

1. These Rules are the Administration of Muslim Law (Muslim Converts) (Amendment) Rules 2017 and come into operation on 1 January 2018.

Amendment of rule 6

2. Rule 6 of the Administration of Muslim Law (Muslim Converts) Rules (R 3) is amended by deleting the word “Secretary” in paragraph (a) and in the rule heading and substituting in each case the words “Chief Executive”.
