Newspaper and Printing Presses (Exemption) (No. 2) (Amendment) Order 2009

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 44(1)(b)(ii) of the Newspaper and Printing Presses Act, the Minister for Information, Communications and the Arts hereby makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1. This Order may be cited as the Newspaper and Printing Presses (Exemption) (No. 2) (Amendment) Order 2009 and shall come into operation on 9th January 2009.

Amendment of Schedule

2. The Schedule to the Newspaper and Printing Presses (Exemption) (No. 2) Order 2004 (G.N. No. S 507/2004) is amended —

(a)

by deleting the words “Nextmove Stockmeter” in the first column of item 134 and substituting the words “Technical Analysis Report”; and

(b)

by inserting, immediately after item 143, the following item:

“144. Research Report

Philip Securities Research Pte Ltd”.
