Medical and Elderly Care Endowment Schemes
(Approved Institutions) (Amendment)
Notification 2019

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 8 of the Medical and Elderly Care Endowment Schemes Act, the Minister for Health makes the following Notification:

Citation and commencement

1.—(1) This Notification is the Medical and Elderly Care Endowment Schemes (Approved Institutions) (Amendment) Notification 2019 and, except for paragraph 2(b), is deemed to have come into operation on 1 October 2018.

(2) Paragraph 2(b) comes into operation on 2 January 2019.

Amendment of Schedule

2. The Schedule to the Medical and Elderly Care Endowment Schemes (Approved Institutions) Notification 2016 (G.N. No. S 2/2016) is amended —

(a)

by deleting item 132 and substituting the following item:

“132. Kwong Wai Shiu Care @McNair”; and

(b)

by inserting, immediately after item 145, the following item:

“145A. Kwong Wai Shiu Care @Jalan Besar”.
