Finance Companies
(Advertisements) (Revocation)
Regulations 2013

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 57(2) of the Finance Companies Act, the Monetary Authority of Singapore hereby makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Finance Companies (Advertisements) (Revocation) Regulations 2013 and shall come into operation on 1st March 2013.

Revocation

2. The Finance Companies (Advertisements) Regulations (Rg 2) are revoked.

Transitional provisions

3.—(1) Every permit granted under regulation 3 of the Finance Companies (Advertisements) Regulations before 1st March 2013, being a permit that is in force immediately before that date, shall be deemed to have been cancelled on1st March 2013.

(2) Notwithstanding regulation 2, the Monetary Authority of Singapore may refund on a pro‑rata basis such amount, as it considers appropriate, of the fees paid in respect of a permit referred to in paragraph (1).
