Infectious Diseases
(Composition of Offences)
Regulations 2020
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 73 of the Infectious Diseases Act, the Minister for Health makes the following Regulations:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Regulations are the Infectious Diseases (Composition of Offences) Regulations 2020 and come into operation on 12 February 2020.
Compoundable offences
2.  The following offences (other than a continuing offence) may be compounded by the Director in accordance with section 68(1) of the Act:
(a)any offence under section 15(4) or (5), 16(3) or (4), 17(5), 17A(8)(a), 18(2), 19(3) or (4), 19A(2), 20(2), 21(4), 21A(4), 21B(4), 55(8) or 64(a) of the Act;
(b)any offence under regulation 24(a) or (b) or 49 of the Infectious Diseases (Quarantine) Regulations (Rg 1).
