(Amendment No. 5) Rules 2022

In exercise of the powers conferred by sections 34 and 140 of the Road Traffic Act 1961, the Minister for Transport makes the following Rules:

Citation and commencement

1. These Rules are the Road Traffic (Motor Vehicles, Registration and Licensing) (Amendment No. 5) Rules 2022 and come into operation on 1 January 2023.

Amendment of rule 10

2. In rule 10 of the Road Traffic (Motor Vehicles, Registration and Licensing) Rules (R 5), in the following provisions, replace “31 December 2022” with “31 December 2023”:
