(Amendment) Regulations 2021
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 143(1) of the Customs Act, the Minister for Finance makes the following Regulations:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Regulations are the Customs (Amendment) Regulations 2021 and come into operation on 1 January 2022.
Amendment of Third Schedule
2.  Item 2 of the Third Schedule to the Customs Regulations (Rg 2) is amended —
(a)by deleting “$43,200” in paragraph (a)(i) and substituting “$31,600”; and
(b)by deleting paragraph (b) and substituting the following paragraph:
 
“(b)to distill, ferment, or manufacture any other intoxicating liquors, where the projected annual production volume (in the case of an application for the issue of a licence) or the past annual production volume (in the case of an application for renewal of a licence) is —
 
 
 
(i)400,000 litres or more
 
$23,500 for one year
 
(ii)less than 400,000 litres
 
$10,200 for one year”.
