Income Tax (Approved Banks) (Consolidation) (Amendment) Order 1998

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 13(9) of the Income Tax Act, the Minister for Finance hereby makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1. This Order may be cited as the Income Tax (Approved Banks) (Consolidation) (Amendment) Order 1998.

Amendment of Consolidation Order

2. The Income Tax (Approved Banks) (Consolidation) Order (O 32A) is amended —

(a)

by deleting the words “ABN AMRO Hoare Govett Merchant Bank (Singapore) Ltd.” and substituting the words “ABN AMRO Asia Merchant Bank (Singapore) Limited”, with effect from 23rd February 1998; and

(b)

by deleting the following words, with effect from 31st January 1998:
