Road Traffic
(Amendment) Rules 2016

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 140 of the Road Traffic Act, the Minister for Transport makes the following Rules:

Citation and commencement

1. These Rules are the Road Traffic (Amendment) Rules 2016 and come into operation on 21 March 2016.

Amendment of rule 26A

2. Rule 26A of the Road Traffic Rules (R 20) is amended —

(a)	by inserting, immediately after the words “from a” in paragraphs (1)(a) and (2), the words “bus stop or a”; and
(b)	by deleting the words “bus bay” in paragraph (1)(b) and substituting the words “bus stop, or a bus bay,”.
