(Chapter 21)
Betting (Exemption) (No. 2) Notification 2009
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 22 of the Betting Act, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Notification:
Citation
1.  This Notification may be cited as the Betting (Exemption) (No. 2) Notification 2009.
Exemption
2.—(1)  The Minister hereby exempts the Singapore Pools (Private) Limited from the provisions of the Act in respect of the public lottery known as “Scratchit!”, in connection with the 2009 Formula One Singapore Grand Prix, to be held from 28th April 2009 to 31st December 2009 (both dates inclusive).
(2)  The exemption is subject to compliance by the Singapore Pools (Private) Limited with the conditions stated in the letter of approval dated 16th March 2009.
