Protection from Online Falsehoods
and Manipulation (Amendment) Regulations 2023
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 62 of the Protection from Online Falsehoods and Manipulation Act 2019, the Minister for Communications and Information makes the following Regulations:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Regulations are the Protection from Online Falsehoods and Manipulation (Amendment) Regulations 2023 and come into operation on 7 March 2023.
Amendment of regulation 3
2.  In the Protection from Online Falsehoods and Manipulation Regulations 2019 (G.N. No. S 662/2019), in regulation 3 —
(a)in paragraph (1)(d), delete “and” at the end;
(b)in paragraph (1)(e), replace the full-stop at the end with “; and”;
(c)in paragraph (1), after sub-paragraph (e), insert —
(f)TikTok Pte. Ltd.”;
(d)in paragraph (3)(d), delete “and” at the end;
(e)in paragraph (3)(e), replace the full-stop at the end with “; and”; and
(f)in paragraph (3), after sub-paragraph (e), insert —
(f)TikTok Pte. Ltd.”.
Amendment of regulation 15
3.  In the Protection from Online Falsehoods and Manipulation Regulations 2019, in regulation 15 —
(a)in paragraph (1)(b)(vi), replace the full-stop at the end with a semi‑colon;
(b)in paragraph (1)(b), after sub-paragraph (vi), insert —
(vii)TikTok Pte. Ltd.”;
(c)in paragraph (2)(f), replace the full-stop at the end with a semi‑colon; and
(d)in paragraph (2), after sub-paragraph (f), insert —
(g)TikTok Pte. Ltd.”.
