Pingat Bakti Setia (Polis)
(The Long Service Medal — Police)
(Amendment) Rules 2013

The President hereby makes the following Rules:

Citation and commencement

1. These Rules may be cited as the Pingat Bakti Setia (Polis) (The Long Service Medal — Police) (Amendment) Rules 2013 and shall come into operation on 1st March 2013.

Amendment of rule 3

2. Rule 3 of the Pingat Bakti Setia (Polis) (The Long Service Medal — Police) Rules 2007 (G.N. No. S 429/2007) is amended by deleting paragraph (1) and substituting the following paragraph:

“(1) The Medal may be awarded to any person who has completed at least 25 years of continuous and unbroken service in the Singapore Police Force as —

(a)	a uniformed Singapore Police Force operationally ready national serviceman; or
(b)	a volunteer enrolled as a member of the Special Constabulary deemed to be constituted under section 66(1) of the Police Force Act (Cap. 235).”.
