Road Traffic (Motor Vehicles, Registration and Licensing) (Exemption) (No. 2) Order 2011

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 142 of the Road Traffic Act, the Minister for Transport hereby makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1. This Order may be cited as the Road Traffic (Motor Vehicles, Registration and Licensing) (Exemption) (No. 2) Order 2011 and shall come into operation on 10th March 2011.

Exemption

2. Rule 7(1) of the Road Traffic (Motor Vehicles, Registration and Licensing) Rules (R 5) shall not apply to any omnibus which —

(a)	is registered on or after 10th March 2011 in the name of any of the companies set out in the Schedule; and
(b)	is used only for the operation of the bus services which such company is licensed to operate under section 12 of the Public Transport Council Act (Cap. 259B).
