Sewerage and Drainage (Sewage Treatment Plants) (Amendment) Regulations 2000

In exercise of the powers conferred by sections 73 and 75 of the Sewerage and Drainage Act 1999, the Minister for the Environment hereby makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Sewerage and Drainage (Sewage Treatment Plants) (Amendment) Regulations 2000 and shall come into operation on 1st April 2000.

Deletion and substitution of Schedule

2. The Schedule to the Sewerage and Drainage (Sewage Treatment Plants) Regulations 1999 (G.N. No. S168/99) is deleted and the following Schedule substituted therefor:

Fees

Capacity of sewage treatment plant

Fees for plant without mechanical equipment

Fees for plant with mechanical equipment

(1) Not exceeding 2.5 cubic metres

$30

(2) Exceeding 2.5 cubic metres but not exceeding 5 cubic metres

$60

(3) Exceeding 5 cubic metres but not exceeding 10 cubic metres

$80

$90

(4) Exceeding 10 cubic metres

$30 per 5 cubic metres or part thereof

$35 per 5 cubic metres or part thereof.”.
