Control of Plants
(Plant Health Services Fees)
(Amendment) Rules 1998

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 46 of the Control of Plants Act, the Minister for National Development hereby makes the following Rules:

Citation and commencement

1. These Rules may be cited as the Control of Plants (Plant Health Services Fees) (Amendment) Rules 1998 and shall come into operation on 1st April 1998.

Deletion and substitution of Schedule

2. The Schedule to the Control of Plants (Plant Health Services Fees) Rules 1997 (G.N. No. S 145/97) is deleted and the following Schedule substituted therefor:

“THE SCHEDULE

First column

Second column

(1)	General examination

$7 per plant type.

(2)	Laboratory analysis and diagnosis

$24 per analysis (nutrient, moisture, organic matter, CEC, soil texture, salt content, C/N ratio); or diagnosis per plant type for bacteria, fungus, nematode, virus or any other invertebrate/micro-organism.

(3)

pH Test

$10 per test.

(4)	Professional service fee

$60 per hour or part thereof.

(5)	Technical service fee

$36 per hour or part thereof.

”.
