Endangered Species (Import and Export) Act (Amendment of Schedule) (No. 2) Notification 2007

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 28 of the Endangered Species (Import and Export) Act 2006, the Minister for National Development hereby makes the following Notification:

Citation and commencement

1. This Notification may be cited as the Endangered Species (Import and Export) Act (Amendment of Schedule) (No. 2) Notification 2007 and shall come into operation on 3rd May 2007.

Amendment of Schedule

2. The Appendices in the Schedule to the Endangered Species (Import and Export) Act 2006 are amended by inserting, immediately before the taxon “STYLOMMATOPHORA” of the taxon ”CLASS GASTROPODA (SNAILS AND CONCHES)” (page 85), the following taxon and item:

ARCHAEOGASTROPODA

Haliotidae Abalones

Haliotis midae (South Africa)
