Fisheries (Fishing Gear)
(Amendment) Rules 1998

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 7 of the Fisheries Act, the Minister for National Development hereby makes the following Rules:

Citation and commencement

1. These Rules may be cited as the Fisheries (Fishing Gear) (Amendment) Rules 1998 and shall come into operation on 1st April 1998.

Deletion and substitution of Schedule

2. The Schedule to the Fisheries (Fishing Gear) Rules (R 6) is deleted and the following Schedule substituted therefor:

“THE SCHEDULE

Rules 4(3) and 11

(1)	For a licence for each fishing gear

$20 per annum

(2)	For a licence for each fishing stake (kelong) in water

$260 per annum

(3)	For a certified true copy of a document

(4)	For every survey of the site of a commercial fishing establishment (kelong)

$670.”.
