Registration of Births and Deaths (Amendment) Rules 1998

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 29 of the Registration of Births and Deaths Act, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Rules:

Citation and commencement

1. These Rules may be cited as the Registration of Births and Deaths (Amendment) Rules 1998 and shall come into operation on 1st April 1998.

Amendment of rule 26

2. Rule 26 of the Registration of Births and Deaths Rules (R 1) is amended —

(a)	by deleting "$10" in paragraph (1)(b) and substituting "$13";
(b)	by deleting "$30" in paragraph (5) and substituting "$60";
(c)	by deleting "$22" and "$66" in paragraph (6) and substituting "$25" and "$75", respectively; and
(d)	by deleting "$14" in paragraph (7) and substituting "$20". [G.N. Nos. S147/92; S72/93; S400/94; S166/95; S139/96; S318/96; S135/97; S172/97]
