Factories (Singapore Standards and Codes of Practice) Order 2001

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 78A of the Factories Act, the Minister for Manpower hereby makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1. This Order may be cited as the Factories (Singapore Standards and Codes of Practice) Order 2001 and shall come into operation on 1st April 2001.

Compliance with Singapore Standards and Codes of Practice

2. The occupier of a factory shall comply with the Singapore Standards and Codes of Practice (including amendments thereto) set out in the Schedule.
