Road Traffic (Expressway Traffic)
(Amendment) Rules 1998

In exercise of the powers conferred by sections 114 and 140 of the Road Traffic Act, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Rules:

Citation and commencement

1. These Rules may be cited as the Road Traffic (Expressway Traffic) (Amendment) Rules 1998 and shall come into operation on 27th March 1998.

Amendment of Second Schedule

2. The Second Schedule to the Road Traffic (Expressway Traffic) Rules (R 23) is amended by deleting paragraph 7 and substituting the following paragraph:

“7. That length of the Expressway known as Seletar Expressway (referred to in this Schedule as SLE) which extends from the northern end of the CTE in a general north and westward direction past —

(a)	SLE/TPE Interchange;
(b)	SLE/Lentor Avenue Interchange;
(c)	SLE/Upper Thomson Road Interchange;
(d)	SLE/Mandai Avenue Interchange; and
(e)	SLE/Woodlands Avenue 2 Interchange,

to its interchange with Bukit Timah Expressway, a distance of approximately 12,000 metres.”.
