Public Utilities (Water Supply) (Amendment) Regulations 2011

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 72 of the Public Utilities Act, the Public Utilities Board, with the approval of the Minister for the Environment and Water Resources, hereby makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Public Utilities (Water Supply) (Amendment) Regulations 2011 and shall come into operation on 1st October 2011.

Amendment of Second Schedule

2. The Second Schedule to the Public Utilities (Water Supply) Regulations (Rg 5) is amended —

(a)

by deleting the word “and” at the end of item (c);

(b)

by deleting the full-stop at the end of item (d) and substituting the word “; and”; and

(c)

by inserting, immediately after item (d), the following item:

“(e)	Clothes washing machines intended for household use.”.
