(Responsibility of the Minister for Trade and Industry) (Amendment) Notification 2001
Variation of Responsibility of Minister for Trade and Industry
It is hereby notified for general information that, in pursuance of Article 30 of the Constitution of the Republic of Singapore, the Prime Minister has varied, with effect from 1st April 2001, the Schedule to the Constitution of the Republic of Singapore (Responsibility of the Minister for Trade and Industry) Notification 1999 (G.N. No. S 250/99) —
(a)by inserting, immediately below the words “Economic Development Board.” under the heading “Departments/Statutory Bodies”, the words “Energy Market Authority of Singapore.”;
(b)by deleting the words “Public Utilities Board.” under the heading “Departments/Statutory Bodies”;
(c)by deleting the words “Water Resources.” under the sub-heading “Economic Planning and Development:”; and
(d)by deleting the words “Provision of Water.” and “Regulation of Public Utilities.” under the sub-heading “Industrial Infrastructure:” and substituting the words “Regulation of Energy Utilities.”.
