Slaughter-houses and Meat Processing Factories Act
(Chapter 307)
Meat Processing Factories (Control and Licensing) (Amendment) Rules 1998
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 14 of the Slaughter-houses and Meat Processing Factories Act, the Minister for National Development hereby makes the following Rules:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Rules may be cited as the Meat Processing Factories (Control and Licensing) (Amendment) Rules 1998 and shall come into operation on 1st April 1998.
Amendment of rule 7
2.  Rule 7 of the Meat Processing Factories (Control and Licensing) Rules (R 2) is amended —
(a)by deleting “$200” in paragraph (a)(i) and “$600” in paragraph (a)(ii)and substituting “$220” and “$660”, respectively; and
(b)by deleting “$800” in paragraph (b)(i) and “$2,400” in paragraph (b)(ii) and substituting “$840” and “$2,520”, respectively.
Deletion and substitution of Schedule
3.  The Schedule to the Meat Processing Factories (Control and Licensing) Rules is deleted and the following Schedule substituted therefor:
