Misuse of Drugs
(Cessation of Approved Institution)
Notification 2013

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 35 of the Misuse of Drugs Act, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Notification:

Citation and commencement

1. This Notification may be cited as the Misuse of Drugs (Cessation of Approved Institution) Notification 2013 and shall come into operation on 16 January 2013.

Cessation of approved institution

2. The Minister hereby declares that Kaki Bukit Centre (Blocks A and B), 10 Kaki Bukit Avenue 5, Singapore 417902, shall cease to be an approved institution for the treatment and rehabilitation of drug addicts and other persons under the Act.

Amendment of approved institutions

3. Item (3) of the Schedule to the Notification relating to Approved Institutions (N 3) is deleted.
