Securities and Futures
(Composition of Offences)
(Amendment) Regulations 2020

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 341 of the Securities and Futures Act, the Monetary Authority of Singapore makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1.—(1) These Regulations are the Securities and Futures (Composition of Offences) (Amendment) Regulations 2020 and, except for regulation 2(b), are deemed to have come into operation on 8 October 2018.

(2) Regulation 2(b) is deemed to have come into operation on 1 August 2013.

Amendment of regulation 2

2. Regulation 2 of the Securities and Futures (Composition of Offences) Regulations (Rg 4) is amended —

(a)	by deleting the words “section 6(4)” in paragraph (b) and substituting the words “section 7(4)”;
(b)	by deleting “49(7)” in paragraph (b) and substituting “49(4)”;
(c)	by deleting “253(1),” in paragraph (b) and substituting the words “253(1) or”; and
(d)	by deleting the words “or 282N(1)” in paragraph (b).
