Infectious Diseases Act
(Chapter 137)
Infectious Diseases (Measures to Prevent or Control the Spread of Infectious Diseases) (Amendment) Regulations 2009
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 73(2)(h) of the Infectious Diseases Act, the Minister for Health hereby makes the following Regulations:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Regulations may be cited as the Infectious Diseases (Measures to Prevent or Control the Spread of Infectious Diseases) (Amendment) Regulations 2009 and shall come into operation on 28th April 2009.
Amendment of First Schedule
2.  The First Schedule to the Infectious Diseases (Measures to Prevent or Control the Spread of Infectious Diseases) Regulations 2004 (G.N. No. S 13/2004) is amended by inserting, immediately after item 2, the following item:
“3.  Swine Influenza.”.
Amendment of Second Schedule
3.  The Second Schedule to the Infectious Diseases (Measures to Prevent or Control the Spread of Infectious Diseases) Regulations 2004 is amended by inserting, immediately after item 2, the following item:
“3.  Swine Influenza.”.
