Arms and Explosives (Explosives)
(Amendment) Rules 2017

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 46(1) of the Arms and Explosives Act, the Minister for Home Affairs makes the following Rules:

Citation and commencement

1. These Rules are the Arms and Explosives (Explosives) (Amendment) Rules 2017 and come into operation on 24 April 2017.

Miscellaneous amendments

2. The Arms and Explosives (Explosives) Rules (R 2) are amended by inserting, immediately after the words “date of issue” in the following provisions, the words “, or such shorter period as the Licensing Officer may determine”:

Rules 24(3)(c), 35(b), 47(c), 52(c) and 63(c).
