Infectious Diseases Act
(Chapter 137)
Infectious Diseases Act (Amendment of First, Fifth and Sixth Schedules) Notification 2009
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 70 of the Infectious Diseases Act, the Minister for Health hereby makes the following Notification:
Citation and commencement
1.  This Notification may be cited as the Infectious Diseases Act (Amendment of First, Fifth and Sixth Schedules) Notification 2009 and shall come into operation on 28th April 2009.
Amendment of First Schedule
2.  The First Schedule to the Infectious Diseases Act is amended by inserting, immediately after item 30, the following item:
“30A.  Swine Influenza.”.
Amendment of Fifth Schedule
3.  The Fifth Schedule to the Infectious Diseases Act is amended by numbering the existing item as item 1, and by inserting immediately thereafter the following item:
“2.  Swine Influenza.”.
Amendment of Sixth Schedule
4.  The Sixth Schedule to the Infectious Diseases Act is amended by inserting, immediately after item (1), the following item:
“(1A)  Swine Influenza.”.
