Variation of Responsibility of Minister for Trade and Industry (Trade)

It is notified for general information that the Prime Minister has, under Article 30(1) of the Constitution of the Republic of Singapore, varied with effect from 1 April 2018, the Schedule to the Constitution of the Republic of Singapore (Responsibility of the Minister for Trade and Industry (Trade)) Notification 2015 (G.N. No. S 661/2015) —

(a)

by deleting item 1 under the heading “DEPARTMENTS AND STATUTORY BODIES” and substituting the following item:

“1.	Competition and Consumer Commission of Singapore”; and

(b)

by inserting, immediately after item 1 under the heading “SUBJECTS”, the following item:

“1A.	Consumer Protection (Fair Trading)”.

Citation

2. This Notification is the Constitution of the Republic of Singapore (Responsibility of the Minister for Trade and Industry (Trade)) (Amendment) Notification 2018.
