Road Traffic (Traffic Signs) (Amendment)
Rules 1998
In exercise of the powers conferred by sections 119 and 140 of the Road Traffic Act, the Land Transport Authority of Singapore, with the approval of the Minister for Communications, hereby makes the following Rules:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Rules may be cited as the Road Traffic (Traffic Signs) (Amendment) Rules 1998 and shall come into operation on 1st April 1998.
New rule 14B
2.  The Road Traffic (Traffic Signs) Rules (R 33) are amended by inserting, immediately after rule 14A, the following rule:
Electronic road pricing light signals
14B.—(1)  The light signals indicating a specified entry point on a road as defined in the Road Traffic (Electronic Road Pricing System) Rules 1998 (G.N. No. S 176/98) shall consist of amber lights illuminating the words “IN OPERATION” during the hours of operation.
(2)  The arrangement of the lights shall be as shown in diagram 162.”.
Amendment of Schedule
3.  The Schedule to the Road Traffic (Traffic Signs) Rules is amended by inserting, immediately after diagram 161(e), the following diagram:
