Companies (Winding Up) (Amendment) Rules 1998

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 410 of the Companies Act, the Rules Committee constituted under the Supreme Court of Judicature Act (Cap. 322), hereby makes the following Rules:

Citation and commencement

1. These Rules may be cited as the Companies (Winding Up) (Amendment) Rules 1998 and shall come into operation on 1st April 1998.

Amendment of rule 32

2. Rule 32(1) of the Companies (Winding Up) Rules (R 1) is amended by deleting “$3,250” in sub-paragraph (e) and substituting “$3,450”.

Amendment of Second Schedule

3. The Second Schedule to the Companies (Winding Up) Rules is amended —

(a)	by deleting the words “other than proof of debt” in item 7; and
(b)	by deleting item 9.
