Medicines (Contact Lens Substances)
(Labelling and Containers) (Amendment) Regulations 2001

In exercise of the powers conferred by sections 44 and 46 of the Medicines Act, the Minister for Health hereby makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Medicines (Contact Lens Substances) (Labelling and Containers) (Amendment) Regulations 2001 and shall come into operation on 1st April 2001.

Amendment of regulation 6

2. Regulation 6(2) of the Medicines (Contact Lens Substances) (Labelling and Containers) Regulations (Rg 8) is amended by deleting the words “Director of Medical Services” in the 2nd line and substituting the words “licensing authority”.
