Medicines (Import of Condoms) (Amendment) Regulations 2001
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 74 of the Medicines Act, the Minister for Health hereby makes the following Regulations:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Regulations may be cited as the Medicines (Import of Condoms) (Amendment) Regulations 2001 and shall come into operation on 1st April 2001.
Amendment of regulation 2
2.  Regulation 2 of the Medicines (Import of Condoms) Regulations (Rg 10) (referred to in these Regulations as the principal Regulations) is amended by deleting the definition of “competent authority”.
Amendment of regulation 3
3.  Regulation 3 of the principal Regulations is amended by deleting the words “competent authority” in the 2nd and in the last lines of paragraph (1) and in the last line of paragraph (2) and substituting in each case the words “licensing authority”.
Amendment of regulation 4
4.  Regulation 4 of the principal Regulations is amended by deleting the words “competent authority” in the 1st and in the last lines and substituting in each case the words “licensing authority”.
